I&#039;d guess it&#039;s from ads that state &quot;free to good home&quot; or a pet shop, which is still pretty much an unknown past. Even if you&#039;re picking up the cat from the previous owner, you have no guarantee that they&#039;ll tell you everything you might need to know.</description>

I hope you&#039;ll be posting to this blog again soon - I only just found it... and I love it.

I had to comment on this entry regarding rescued cats as it is something I&#039;m very passionate about. My partner and I have 2 cats and they are both rescue cats... one very large male named Jonesy - who I rescued &quot;from the wild&quot; - let&#039;s say he chose us to be his family... certainly how it felt. He is a little anti-social with strangers - but is the most affectionate cat I&#039;ve ever known... plus his tough as nails!! He&#039;s been through some hard times and illnesses.

Then there&#039;s Ella our baby girl who was adopted from the local shelter. She&#039;s not anti-social at all and was the perfect additon to the family :)
