You can contact a breeder through professional registers of your local veterinary surgery. You will need to discuss breed standards to ensure that any resulting kittens measure up and will therefore find good homes. You will also need to talk about the fee structure, and then arrange to have your queen mated. An alternative for an owner with a non-pedigree cat would be simply to get in touch with another cat owner with an entire male and arrange for the two cats to come into contact with each other when your queen is in season.

I totally agree here. I sometimes hear of people who who take their cats to the vet and ask him or her if they know of any dependable breeders out there. I don’t trust my cat to just any only Tom!

Please, please don’t breed your pets. There are so many animals who are orphaned, who need love and care and a home.
It is irresponsible to breed animals when there are already so many out there who need a loving caring home. Don’t bring more animals into the world – animals who may also be gotten bored of, given up on or mistreated, who end up in shelters, or on the street, or stuck in cruel homes.
Please think of the orphaned animals who need a friend to love them. Please spread your loving arms to these poor souls who already exist.
