Is it safe to use wood treatments?

August 6th, 2008 · No Comments

A wood treatment will be necessary in order to protect wood-framed panels against the weather. There are many wood stains available that are environmentally friendly, and once dry they are guaranteed not to harms pets. If you are not sure about the status of a particular wood stain or preservative, ask at the DIY store or, better still contact the manufactures. It is better to do this before purchasing a wood preservative or stain, rather than checking afterward only to find that the product is not appropriate for use on the items to which pets will have access.
